Centennial Field (Lake Monsters) Has Seats! No Really!

Here's the new seating! http://www.vermontlakemonsters.com
I received a press release from the Vermont Lake Monsters yesterday that they have installed 750 new seats at legendary Centennial Field.

Here's a brief history of Centennial Field.

Centennial Field had wooden seats behind the home plate grand stand, but never seats on the first and third base grandstands. This is a major improvement in updating Centennial Field which opened in 1906, and keeping minor league baseball in Vermont long term.

Prior to these seats being installed fans sat on concrete slabs, where fans can stretch out but at the same time were extremely uncomfortable for nine innings. Also, many times I scrapped my knees and elbows on the concrete.

I'm very excited about the new seating, and can't wait to see a game this season.

The Lake Monsters open their season against the Tri-City ValleyCats on June 17th, and their first home game is June 20th against the Connecticut Tigers.
