Kraig Binick Back With Ducks

Former Long Island Duck and 2011 Atlantic League batting champion, Kraig Binick is back with the Ducks.

Binick was in the Ducks' dugout on Wednesday night, and will most likely be signed and activated over the next week or so.

In 2011, Binick was the catalyst for the Ducks offense which was among the greatest in league history. That season he led the league with in batting average (.343), and stolen bases (42).

Last season, Binick had a drop in production but was still extremely productive for the Ducks, hitting .264 with 29 stolen bases for the Atlantic League champions.

Binick started the 2013 season with Campache of the Mexican League (AAA), before being traded to Monclova after 55 games. He only played nine games for Monclova before he was released. He was hitting .259 with two home runs, 21 RBI, and 20 stolen bases in the Mexican League.
