Ducks Bring Back Bobby Blevins For Playoff Push
The Long Island Ducks announced today that they have acquired pitcher Bobby Blevins in a trade with the Rockland Boulders of the Can-Am League.

Last season, Blevins came over late in the season for the Ducks and posted a 1-0 record with 2.42 ERA in 26 innings down the stretch. He was instrumental in their playoff run that concluded with the Atlantic League championship. He finished the 2012 playoffs with a 3.75 ERA in 12 innings pitched.

Blevins was originally drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the the 13th round (416th overall) of the 2007 MLB Draft out of Le Moyne College. He played four season in the Dodgers organization, advancing as high as Triple-A in 2010.

In 2011, Blevins signed with the Rockland Boulders of the Can-Am League.

Prior to joining the Ducks this season, Blevins had a 9-10 record with a 4.24 ERA in 144.1 innings pitched for the Boulders.
