The Dutchmen have used strong pitching and clutch hitting to move their record to 3-0 on the early season.

The catalyst for the Dutchmen has been leadoff hitter Will Miller (College of Albermarle) who is hitting .462 with two stolen bases. Miller always seems to find his way on base and make things happen.

Sean Aspinall (Azusa Pacific University) has also been on fire for Albany hitting .500 with two stolen bases and leading the team with three RBI.

The pitching for the Dutchmen has been outstanding. Starters Jake Welch (Notre Dame College), Spencer Hotaling (Susquehanna University), and Drew Tolson (Baylor University) combined to allow only three earned runs in the first three starts of the season. The Dutchmen bullpen has equally as good allowing only two runs in 9.2 innings pitched. The team ERA is a miniscule 1.50, while opposing teams are only hitting .165 against them.
