Tri-City ValleyCats Are A Classy Organization, Vermont Lake Monsters Uniforms Aren't As Bad As I Thought

I went to my first NY-Penn League game of the 2014 season last night and I had a few observations...

First, the Tri-City ValleyCats are a classy organization. Possibly, the classiest organization in minor league baseball. Games are consistent from season to season, and standards are held very high. Sometimes teams get complacent and the overall product suffers. Not with the ValleyCats.  The stadium is always maintained, the staff is always friendly and courteous. Not to mention the fans are some of the best in minor league baseball. It's a great place to watch baseball and feel at home.

Second, a few weeks ago I had a slight rant about the Vermont Lake Monsters' new logo. I have to admit after seeing it in action last night it has grown on me. The color scheme is pretty solid, and the bright green really pops off the uniform. I actually heard numerous people say how much they liked the new uniforms. I'll probably end up picking up one of their new hats (not the batting practice hat, I still hate that one).
