Army (2-2-1) started off their season with two losses, but have won two of their last three games (the other game was a tie).  Army found their offense in their last game against Robert Morris when five different players scored goals and 11 different players had a point in a 5-2 win.

Prior to the winning streak, Army made a change in net, making sophomore Trevin Koslowski their starter. Koslowski has been solid in his first three collegiate starts, posting a 2.05 GAA with a .916 save percentage.

Mercyhurst (1-3-1) has been inconsistent so far this season. In their second game of the season, they tied Notre Dame (now #1 ranked team) 6-6. However, their offensive has dried up and they've only scored five goals in their last three games. They won their last game 3-1 over Ferris State.

A bright spot for the Lakers has been goalie Stefano Cantali. The sophomore netminder has posted a 1-1-0 record with a 1.95 GAA and .932 save percentage this season.

Key to the game:

These two are evenly matched, so much in fact they are tied at #32 in total offense this season. They have both scored 13 goals and average 2.60 goals per game. The biggest difference between these two teams has been goaltending and defense. Army is allowing 3.00 goals per game while Mercyhurtst is allowing 4.60 GAA, which is #51 in the nation out of #54 teams.
